1. Who we are

This website and the Lakesis platform are operated by Shenzhen Zeqing Technology Co., Ltd. ("Lakesis" or "we"). We provide the enterprise Agent intelligence foundation and the scenario Agent products. "You" in this policy means anyone who visits our site, signs up for an account, or otherwise interacts with Lakesis.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

• Visitor data: collected via cookies / logs when you browse lakesis.ai
• Business contact data: information you provide via contact forms, email, calls
• Account data: identity and authentication info when you register for Lakesis trial or production

Not in scope: business data processed by enterprise customers through the Lakesis platform (e.g. customer records, contracts, invoice images) is Customer Data — the customer is the data controller, Lakesis is the data processor, and the relationship is governed by the executed Data Processing Addendum (DPA).

3. What we collect

3.1 Information you provide

• Business inquiries: name, company, role, work email, phone, need description
• Account registration: username, password hash, company domain, 2FA device
• Payment and contracts: invoicing info, SOW signatory info (handled via dedicated legal flow)

3.2 Information collected automatically

• Device & browser: IP address, User-Agent, screen resolution, OS
• Activity: pages visited, session duration, referrers, click events
• Cookies & local storage: for session, preferences, A/B test bucketing

4. How we use it

• Respond to your business and technical inquiries
• Provide, maintain, and improve the Lakesis platform and website
• Send product updates, security advisories, service change notifications
• Compliance, audit, anti-fraud, anti-abuse monitoring
• Meet legal and regulatory requirements

We do not use your personal information for unrelated marketing, sell it to third parties, or use it to train models for other customers.

5. How we share information

We share data with third parties only in these cases:

• Sub-processors: vendors providing cloud infra, email delivery, security monitoring etc. — all under DPA with matching confidentiality. Full list in appendix.
• Legal & compliance: in response to lawful subpoena, court order, or regulatory request.
• Corporate transactions: in case of acquisition, merger, or sale, your data may transfer as part of the deal, with prior notice.

6. Storage and cross-border transfer

Visitor data is stored in mainland China data centers. Business contact data is stored in Lakesis's Alibaba Cloud East China region database. For international users, we transfer only what is necessary to respond to your inquiry, over TLS.

Enterprise customer data always stays within the customer's chosen compliance perimeter — private deployments never leave the customer's premises; hybrid deployments keep inference in private VPCs with control planes in designated clouds. See Data Sovereignty & Deployment.

7. Your rights

Under PIPL and applicable laws, you have the rights to:

• Be informed and decide: know how we process and accept or refuse
• Access and copy: obtain a copy of information we hold about you
• Correction: update inaccurate or incomplete information
• Deletion: request deletion in qualifying cases
• Withdraw consent: revoke previously given consent (does not affect prior processing)

8. Cookies and tracking

We use necessary cookies for session and preferences, and anonymized analytics (self-hosted Plausible). We do not use cross-site tracking cookies or ad-network integrations. You can disable cookies in your browser, though some features may be affected.

9. Updates

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be announced via email or a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of Lakesis constitutes acceptance of updates. Historical versions are in the change log.
