You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable law, professional rules, customer commitments, and internal company policies.

2. Your Account and Connected Services

Some Lakesis features rely on third-party accounts or integrations, including Zoom and calendar services. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials, reviewing the permissions you grant, and disconnecting an integration if it is no longer required.

• You must only connect accounts and workspaces you are authorized to use.
• You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of any data you sync or upload.
• You must promptly notify Lakesis if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the website or platform. Prohibited activities include:

• attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, APIs, or data;
• using the service to violate privacy, confidentiality, sanctions, anti-corruption, or intellectual property laws;
• uploading malicious code, interfering with service performance, or bypassing technical restrictions;
• using Lakesis to create deceptive, fraudulent, or unlawful communications or workflow outputs; and
• reverse engineering the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.

4. AI-Assisted Features

Lakesis may generate summaries, recommendations, workflow actions, or draft content using automated systems. AI-assisted output can help accelerate work, but it should be reviewed by the appropriate human owner before it is relied on for legal, compliance, financial, or operational decisions.

5. Customer Data and Responsibilities

As between you and Lakesis, you retain responsibility for the data you provide to the service. You confirm that you have the rights, notices, consents, or other valid legal basis needed for Lakesis to process that data on your behalf or at your request.

6. Third-Party Services

The Lakesis platform may interoperate with third-party providers such as Zoom, infrastructure vendors, communication services, and data storage systems. Those providers operate under their own terms and policies, and Lakesis is not responsible for external service outages, policy changes, or acts outside our reasonable control.

7. Intellectual Property

Lakesis and its licensors retain all rights in the website, platform, trademarks, software, documentation, and related materials, except for customer content and data that remain subject to the applicable customer relationship.

8. Availability, Suspension, and Termination

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, investigate abuse, respond to legal requirements, or prevent harm.

9. Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation

Except as expressly agreed in writing, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakesis disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the website or service.
